Go Green With Your Move

Go Green With Your Move
Typically moving can be very wasteful.  Disposable boxes, thousands of square feet of bubble wrap.... and paper galore.  Not to mention the emissions from the trucks that haul your stuff around.
Being smart about your move can help you save money and go green!

Give Back before you pack

Moving is a great time to go through all of your things and give away what you don't need or use. Recycle items that can't be donated and your load is already lighter.

Be Thrifty

If you have not worn an article of clothes in 6 months, then it's time to pass it on. Save clothes in good condition and take to second hand stores that pay cash or credit for clothes. You may even pick up some new things that you will use more often.

Use your things to pack your things

Using suitcases in place of boxes and linens in place of bubble wrap or paper is a great way to save money on supplies and the environment. Saving plastic grocery bags in advance can be used as packing materials in you move.
