Builders Association announced 2013 award winners at its installation of
officers earlier this year. Capturing the Builder Member of the Year Award for
2013 was Landon Homes, one of Northeast Florida’s premier new-home builders.
Locally owned and staffed, Landon Homes is a young company with
seasoned, experienced partners at the helm and in the staff of designers,
construction team, customer service and administration. Created by veteran
homebuilder Dennis Ginder and development icon Chester Stokes, Landon Homes was

NEFBA instituted the Builder Member of the Year of the Award in
1973 to honor the individual or company that best reflects the values,
integrity and commitment to excellence the association promotes.
Ginder served as the association’s president and continues to
serve on the executive committee. He is also a member of the St. Johns Builders
Council where he has served as its chair. Landon Homes has won multiple awards
for excellence in design and workmanship in both the St. Johns Builders and the
NEFBA Parades of Homes.
