Landon Homes offers Flex Rooms

A potential new Happy Landon Homes Owner commented this afternoon how pleased they were we were offering Flex Rooms in our new homes in St. Augustine.  They were a family of five with small children and wanted a flex room to use as a playroom.  They said it was a great way for the kids to be close and for them to keep a watchful eye while fixing dinner.  It also confines the toys to one room.  Our conversation made me consider the many benefits of a Flex Room and how today’s homebuyers can use them.
A Flex Room is a space that can be used for a number of functions.  As we say at Landon Homes, one size does not fit all, and neither does a Flex Room.  As a homeowners’ needs change, so can their Flex Room.
Do you need an extra bedroom?  It is easy to create a private suite in a Flex Room, just add an armoire or built in closet.
Consider the playroom, as the children grow you can turn it into a Television Room.  Most parents and children don’t want to watch the same television shows at the same time, so there will be no more arguing over the remote!Flex Room Retreat

Ditch the TV and add a desk and computer and it now the Flex Room becomes a great Homework Room or Home Office.

For many, flex rooms are an extra Family Room (or Den as my Mother called ours).  Make your Flex Room a great place by adding some bookcases, a comfy reading chair or even a game table.  Family Fun night never looked so good.

How about the split personality Flex Room?  Many of these rooms can have their separate “by day” features, and a guest suite by night by adding a Murphy Bed.

However you decide to use your Flex Room, Landon Homes offers many different plans that provide great options for your unique new home needs.
