Custom Homes: Classic White Kitchens

Bright, cheery and timeless, white remains the kitchen color of choice. And, it's easy to see why with these traditional, modern, cottage and contemporary white kitchens that are far from boring. When working with Landon on your custom kitchen use these beautiful kitchens below for inspiration.

A white kitchen doesn't have to be all white. Here the upper kitchen cabinets were swapped for just two small shelves so the fanciful floral wallpaper is the star. For contrast, a kitchen island with an emerald green tone was chosen.

If your existing white kitchen just needs a little pick-me-up, take a cue from us and replace the kitchen cabinet doors with glass and accent your dishes with a little color.  Then use a fun shade like cheery apple green on the window and a few matching pieces of green dishware to make your cabinets pop.

In this classic white kitchen the focus is on the function as well as form with the design. Beautiful white wall cabinets were chosen to keep the space bright but with a dark stain for the island to break things up.

In this historically charming kitchen the space's unique dimensions and the desire to preserve the home's original architecture made fitting a modern kitchen with all the amenities difficult. The kitchen's layout allowed for only one wall of cabinets so the solution was to create custom cabinets that stretch nearly to the ceiling. Framed, Shaker-style doors and bronze fixtures marry the white cabinets to the home's traditional style.
